FORT WORTH —
Clifton
Capital Partners, a Fort Worth financial-planning firm, plans to build a
corporate headquarters on the west side.
Clifton and CWV Land Investment
Co. have partnered to construct a three-story, 10,000-square-foot building on
the southwest corner of Camp Bowie Boulevard and Merrick Street.
The firm, which has six employees, said it will move from its office on
Hulen Street, just north of Bellaire Drive, where it has been since 2005.
Greg
Clifton,
Clifton's chief executive, said that his firm
will occupy about half the building and that the remaining space will be leased.
The first two floors will be office space, and the third floor will have meeting
space, a conference room, an employee break room and an outdoor patio, he said.
CWV partners include
Clifton, Edward Sankary and son Scott
Sankary.
The Auto Perfections carwash building, which CWV owns, is being
demolished this week to make room for
Clifton. Construction will take
about a year.
"We've been taking input throughout the planning process from interested
neighbors and others concerned about the continuing development of this area,"
Clifton said in a statement. "Plans for construction honor that input and
reflect the urban-village character of the Camp Bowie corridor."
